Aldine, Texas is home to nearly 14,000 Houstonians. Although a small piece of Houston in Harris County, Aldine continues to grow with more and more businesses and families moving to the area. Aldine Independent School District has been ranked among high performing school districts since 1996. Just for kids recognized twenty schools in the Aldine Independent School District as high performing in various academic categories and the Aldine Independent School District Board of Education was chosen as the Outstanding School Board of Texas by TASA. Aldine Independent School District also participates in mentoring programs for “at-risk” high school students to encourage self-esteem, safety, relationship building and reduce discipline referrals.
Aldine has a predominantly Hispanic and White population with the average home costing 58000-59000. Aldine is truly a typical Houston town with high temperatures and high humidity nearly year round. There are few opportunities to escape the heat, but Aldine is a wonderful place to call home!
