First settled in the early 1800s, Humble Texas thrived in the early 1900's when oil seemed to overflow from the land.  Infact, Humble is the birth place of Exxon Co. USA.  After the town was officially incorporated in 1933, many of the residential areas like Atascocita, Kingwood and Forest Cove began to attract more and more families and businesses. 

Today, Humble is home to a state-of-the-art hospital, quality schools, the fabulous Deerbrook Mall, Humble Civic center and arena; as well as well trained and dedicated city staff who maintain the infrastructure for the 15,000 plus people that live here.  With every kind of living space, from apartments to homes to townhouses, Humble attracts people of all ages and income levels.

As mentioned above, Kingwood is one of the thriving communities around the Humble area.  Described as a master planned community, the 14,000 acre area is divided into 21 villages.  As part of Houston, Kingwood is best known as being a community that exists in harmony with nature.  With large shady trees and a variety of living wildlife, families flock to Kingwood for its great location and selection of retail anddining businesses, schools and colleges and much much more.
