Spring / Woodlands is made up of two thriving communities
Spring, Texas and The Woodlands, Texas. Spring, Texas is most famously known for the shopping area called Old Town Spring. The Crawfish Festival is held here every year and there is year round shopping of crafts, antiques and other unique items you can not find anywhere else in Houston.
Spring, Texas is home to nearly 37,000 people and growing. Like any other Houston community, June, July, August and September are the hottest months in the Spring, Texas area and humidity is a part of everyday life. Families are flocking to the Spring area as Spring ISD is high ranking in the state of Texas and unemployment is much lower than both the Harris County and State averages.
The Woodlands, Texas is just up the road in Montgomery County
approximately 10 miles north of Spring, Texas. The Woodlands, Texas Real Estate is the main focus for The Woodlands. Families make up the majority of the 55,000 residents and the HEB Central Market of The Woodlands market street shopping center is one of the biggest grocery stores in the Houston area. The Woodlands High School has recently opened its second campus in ten years indicating The Woodlands, Texas is one of the fastest growing communities in the Houston area.
For both communities as well as all of Houston, Splashtown is one of the most popular theme parks around. Six Flags recently decided to close down the legendary Astroworld, but Splashtown located in Spring, Texas is going to stay
