Garlic Butter (to taste)
1 Stick Butter
Foil
Foil Pan
Baster

DIRECTIONS

1.  Make sure turkey is thawed all the way through.  If Frozen, take out of the freezer 2-3 days and put in refrigerator.  The evening before cooking, place in the sink with cold water over night.  It should be thawed by morning.

2.  Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees

3.  Remove any inside packages of giblets, neck or other turkey parts (usually found stuffed inside the turkey)

4.  Gently pull turkey skin away from meat, with out tearing skin

5.  Rub garlic butter inbetween meat and skin, so butter will melt down into the meat

6.  Place regular stick of butter inside the turkey

7.  Place turkey in oven and cook according to weight

8.  Every hour to two hours, use baster to drizzle drippings and melted butter on the turkey

9.  For a more golden brown, crispy skin, cover turkey the last hour of cooking with foil
