| Baby Got Back Burger Commercial For Kids???

April 23, 2009 10:49 am I am often accused of being too sensative by my husband to "bad words" or questionable material in movies that are geared towards kids. (I thought the kids making out in the car in the Monsters vs Aliens movie was too far, hubbie thought it was no biggie) So when I saw the new Burger King commercial about square butts sung to "Baby Got Back", I thought this too was out of line since the commercial and product is geared to kids. Am I alone in thinking this stuff is crossing the line?

May 20, 2009 10:38am This commercial is ridiculous. What are they selling exactly? I don't think it is necessary to refer to square butts to sell square hamburger buns is it. The commercial is not only inappropriate for children, it is just plain stupid. Sex or sexuality does not sell everything.

September 3, 2009 11:32am | I don't think Burger King was trying to promote sex. My take on it was just them being silly. It was a fun song that everyone knows and I was not offended at all. I have kids and they are not rushing out to have sex now that they have seen the commercial. |
