CRITIQUE: Chuck E. Cheese...where to begin. I can not say that the food is poor, or that the games are bad or even that the staff is unfriendly, but I can not say anything good either. Our experience at several of the Chuck E. Cheeses in the Houston area was just...BLAH. While younger kids ages 2yrs - 5yrs might have a great time, everyone else will just be board. There was no show or mascot walking around. There were no give aways, or contests to get the customers playing together. There was just nothing to make our visits memorable.
Chuck E. Cheese really needs to step it up. We want more interactive games and shows. I think if the staff interacted more with customers and gave away prizes for silly reasons, it would get families such as yours coming back every month instead of once in a blue moon.
The best thing we can say about the Chuck E. Cheeses we did visit is that they are clean and kept up well. But overall, not some place we will go back to any-time soon.
