That is, until the day he encounters the immense will of three little orphaned girls who look at him and see something that no one else has ever seen: A potential Dad.
One of the world's greatest super-villians has just met his greatest challenge: three little girls named Margo, Edith and Agnes.
OUR REVIEW:
Despicable Me starts with Gru terrorizing his quite suburban neighborhood in the spirit of being the world's worst super-villian. It turns out his super-villian persona is not nearly as bad as some of his competition and he is working with his minions to one-up his enemies by stealing the moon. When he schemes to use three orphans to help him accomplish this task, he finds super-villiany is not all it is cracked up to be. In the end, the little girls steal his heart and Gru gets to be the Dad he didn't know he could be.
The movie does have a very sweet story and lots of laughs although it lacks the loveable characters of some of this years memorable movies like Toy Story. The action is very mild and the villianous plots are comical, so this movie is really appropriate for all ages.
