The 12 acre park has been designed as a green environment and boasts amenities such as a one-acre lake, children's playground, remote control boat rentals, interactive water features, amphitheater stage, dog runs, shuffle board, small putting green, art works, spacious green lawns with plenty of shady trees, WiFi connections and two restaurants, afternoons at the park take on a new exciting definition. Houston has long needed a green space for casual afternoons, and Discovery Green more than fills the void.
Plan on spending at least 3 hours at the park, bring a picnic or visit one of the two restaurants, The Grove or The Lake House, and enjoy a family fun day outside!
