HOW TO PLAY

The Song:

Doggy Doggy, where's your bone
Somebody stole it from your home
Guessss Whooooo,  Maybe You...
Maybe the monkeys from the zoo  (can use different animal names)
Wake up doggy and find your bone.

The Dog (the person that is IT this time around) stands with their eyes closed and the "bone" sitting behind their feet.  (The bone can be any object small enough for little hands to hold behind their backs.) The other kids stand in a line in front of that person. When they start the song, one person from the line grabs the "bone" and runs back to the group, hiding it behind their back. (Have an adult or another child pick who gets to grab the bone)   The Dog then has three guess to find which person has stolen the bone.  It helps if all the kids hide their hands behind their back to confuse The Dog.   The next Dog is the person who had the bone.

For just a parent and child, or small group, use pillows to hide the bone and have The Dog guess which pillow the "bone" is under.
