Egyptian Rat Slap, also known as Egyptian War or Egyptian Rat War, is easy once you get it down. You need at least two players, but can play with as many as you want and there is no age limit! Kids will love this game as much as adults and grand parents. Egyptian Rat War is a perfect game for family get-togethers! DIRECTIONS: The point of Egyptian Rat Slap is to get all the cards. Using a standard 52 card deck, pass cards out evenly between all players. Players should never look at their cards, even after playing starts. The youngest player goes first by flipping over their first card (pulled from the top of their deck). If the card is a number, there is no challenge, and the next person clockwise goes. If the card is a face card or ace, then the challenge starts. The next person clockwise has a certain number of chances to play another face card or the player that played the face card gets to take the stack of cards and play again. The number of chances the challendged player has are Jack - 1 Queen - 2 King - 3 Ace - 4 If the challenged player does play another face card or ace, then the challege moves on to the next player and continues until someone fails the challenge. Players also have the opportunity to win the cards played if they slap the deck when there are two of the same kind of card played. Likewise, if someone runs out of cards, they can rejoin the game if they slap a double play.
Very easy, and very addicting!
