We are new to houston. I was wondering what does Houston have to offer during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. Like everyone else, we are on a pretty strick budget, but still want to enjoy getting out with the family.

I am not sure about Christmast, but Dewberry Farm in Katy has an awesome outdoor amusement area for families. They are open until November 30 and it is well worth the drive to get there.

They also have a pumpkin patch, but have a lot more they the typical pumpkin patch.
