CRITIQUE:
It seemed families forgot about Luby's there for a while. For years, the only time our family went was with the Grandparents...but no more. Luby's has made a comeback with the families in Houston by offering more kid friendly entrees and their famous KIDS EAT FREE WEDNESDAY NIGHTS AND ALL DAY SATURDAYS. For those of us pinching pennies, it is nice to have a fall back not just once a week, but twice. With a broad selection of meats, veggies, breads, salads and desserts there is something for everyone to choose.
The lines move quickly and there are children's seats readily available as soon as you walk in with coloring sheets, crayons and balloons. The staff are frequently circling for refills and although the atmosphere is quiet, everyone seems to understand when a toddler has a moment or a drink gets knocked over. We recommend Luby's for families of all sizes and ages.
