March of The Penguins, while a loveable documentary about the incredible journey Penguins make to have babies, is not the usual movie that will captivate your children and leave them wanting more.
The movie is more or less advertised as a story of Penguins. Moviegoers are under the impression they will be seeing a story with characters and a plot, similar to Two Brothers, with the lions or Homeward bound with the cat and dogs.
March of the Penguins is not that at all. Moviegoers should expect a facinating documentary of the real and difficult experiences Penguins endure to bring their young to life. Although the story is interesting, children will loose attention and interest fairly quickly if they were expecting more of a story. |
