Review:
Girls from all over Texas competed for the 2008 South Texas National American Miss titles, with several young ladies receiving crowns from ages 5 to 18. The winner received several fabulous prizes and the opportunity to compete in the National American Miss National pageant in Hollywood over Thanksgiving.
Although the pageant has a great turnout for supporting families of the girls competing, it is not really an event to attend for family fun. We recommend families who are considering competing at least attend once to get an idea of what to expect and talk to some of the staff about the schedule and prices.
Parents who have an outgoing little girl should strongly consider the National American Miss pageants since they really advocate kids to be kids and girls to grow up to be strong, confident and independent women.
