| Linda Stobart Said: On February 11, 2009 at 10:51am Nia is like dance therapy, done to music, barefoot. Nia is now in Sugar Land, I attended an excellent class where everyone was having such fun moving in ways that you never thought you could! We all left the room happy and glowing and fully sweating! My first impression was that I rediscovered my joyful care free self and gained fitness too. I'm done with the gym workout, I go to Nia classes instead.

| Kathy Said: On May 20, 2009 at 10:51am NIA is a practice of several techniques rolled in to one. Martial Arts is only a part of this creative freeform dance exercise. I can't explain it, but I have experienced it. The outcome is awesome. You exercise so you feel rejuvinated. It is very freeing. Can be somewhat spiritaul. I think the more you put in to it the more you get out. It is done barefoot. The impact is low. I love it. May not be for everyone. Definitley helps get over hang ups. I say try it if you have'nt.
