The annual Sacred Heart Church Turkey Dinner and Bazaar will take place Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008, at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds (located on Hwy 36 in Rosenberg, one mile south of US 59). Presale dinner tickets are $7 for Senior Citizens age 65 and older and $8 for everyone else. (Tickets are $9 at the door.) Serving begins at 11 a.m. in Building B. There will also be a drive thru this year!
The annual bazaar's most popular booths are back, including the Time for All Seasons crafts, Cake Walk, This-n-That and Ye Olde Book Shoppe. The Children's Midway will be extra fun this year with a dunk tank and Sumo wrestling. Sacred Heart's Deacon Billy will be "duking it out" with the highest bidder! Also at the Children's Midway, take part in Jewelry Making, Face Painting, Basketball, Bean Bag Toss and the Cork Gun Gallery.
Music lovers: Check out the band 359 on the Pavilion!
Still hungry after the Turkey Dinner? The Snack Bar will offer food throughout the day including hot dogs, hot pretzels, BBQ sandwiches, sausage on a stick, Frito Pies, nachos and chips. Kids love our snack bar!
The exciting Live Auction begins at noon. An equally exciting Silent Auction will take place throughout the afternoon. The day will end with the raffling of 15 amazing prizes at 4 p.m. (Winner need not be present to win.)
