Heads Up!!! This craft can make a big mess so you may want to do it outside.  You could also use a shoe box or gift box to help contain the mess. 

DIRECTIONS

1.  Lay construction paper on a flat surface. 

2.  Let kids make a design with the glue.  Elmers glue in the bottle usually works best.

3.  Have kids sprinkle sand and glitter over the glue and shake paper until all the glue is covered. 

4.  You can also decorate with small embellishments like jeweled stickers, small beads or buttons.
