CRITIQUE:
The King Biscuit, located just outside of downtown Houston in the Woodland Heights, is an adorable family welcoming restaurant with extremely friendly staff, open patio or indoor seating and a wide selection of entrees. Children are greeted with colors and paper and are easily inspired by the artwork and atmosphere of the restaurant.
With a slight country feel, The King Biscuit offers homemade dishes to suit anyone’s tastes, even the little ones. The salads, appetizers, Tuna, Shrimp, Chicken, Pork Chops, Steak, Turkey and Salmon portions are generous and visitors can order to taste choosing chips, fries or grilled vegetables as sides.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays offer visitors a taste of jazz with live bands giving the restaurant a very Cajun atmosphere. Adults can enjoy a range of Houston’s most assorted and well priced wine and beer lists with lunches featuring great specials.
