Synopsis:
Can you say...Madagascar, with a little bit of Finding Nemo? This statement pretty much sums up Disney's The Wild. The young lion, who can not find his roar, gets frusterated and decides to run away to the wild. Although he quickly changes his mind, he is locked into a crate bound for the wild and his father and friends must journey through New York City and the ocean blue to resuce him.
Even if Madagascar had never been released, The Wild is still lame. Children will have a hard time sitting through the entire drawn out plot and will not connect with the characters. There are also some pretty scary Wildabeasts that may frighten younger children, but other than that, the movie is pretty much forgetable as soon as it ends.
